Oxford Preview Screening of The Dreamed Ones and Q&A with Director Ruth Beckermann

The Dreamed Ones (Die Geträumten, Ruth Beckermann 2016: 89′) centres on two actors, their emotions and conversations while recording the dramatic correspondence of the poets Ingeborg Bachmann and Paul Celan. Following the preview screening, renowned Austrian filmmaker, Ruth Beckermann, will discuss her latest film, awarded Best Austrian Feature Film at the 2016 Diagonale film festival.

The events are generously supported by the Austrian Cultural Forum, the Ingeborg Bachmann Centre for Austrian Literature, King’s College London, the University of Oxford, the Austrian Agency for International Cooperation in Education and Research, and the German Screen Studies Network.
