BFI Fassbinder Retrospective
The GSSN is delighted to support BFI London’s comprehensive retrospective of the films of Rainer Werner Fassbinder. The retrospective, which begins on 27 March 2017, includes new material and documentary footage. GSSN member Martin Brady introduces the retrospective on 28 March.
The retrospective is accompanied by an eight-week course curated by Martin Brady and Erica Carter. Entitled The Many Faces of Rainer Werner Fassbinder, it starts on 13 April and runs until 8 June 2017.
Fassbinder’s Favourites screens some of the films that influenced him – such as All That Heaven Allows, Le Mépris, and White Heat.
