Eleanor Halsall is a post doctoral fellow on the Circulating Cinema project. She is currently researching Indian filmmakers who worked and trained in Germany during the Weimar period. She completed her doctoral thesis, The Indo-German beginnings of the Bombay Talkies, at SOAS.
